Invited Talk at University of Science and Technology of China

Dr. Weiyu Zhang delivered an invited talk on “Tech Ethics Education: Policies and Practices from Singapore” at the USTC Communcation Forum. This talk focuses on the topic of tech ethics education. Starting from a few examples of AI hazard, the first part of the talk briefly reviews the existing policy frameworks regarding AI ethics. The second part of the talk shares a survey among communication major students in a Singapore university. Through discussions with Science and Technology scholars and students, this event highlights the urgent need for AI ethics education.
