CivicTech Lab @ic2s2 2022

The CivicTech Lab, in particular the team of Ms Huazhi Qin, Dr. Subhayan Mukerjee and Dr. Weiyu Zhang, presented at the 2022 International Conference on Computational Social Science (ic2s2) The study analyzes Facebook public pages’ posts on Covid-19 vaccines and found that topics from topic modeling can be seen as sub-issues in Networked Agenda Setting; approach vs withdrawal emotion may be better to understand sentiments’ impact on liking a post.
